I have enjoyed working on this project. The client is a collector with diverse interests, including plants, china/porcelain, Asian art, and various antiques. The main goal was to incorporate much of the collection into the house to create a visually cohesive and captivating home. As with any collector, they constantly find new treasures, leaving me the challenge of finding the perfect space for the “new” finds. Due to the client's love of color and preference for a moody ambiance, many of the rooms feature dark backgrounds with high-contrast accents and multiple layers to bring the spaces together. Sometimes a designer’s work is never done and this client has become a great friend through the process.
